RODGERS SACKED
And those Twitter views keep on coming...
Caroline Wozniacki @CaroWozniacki - "Brendan Rodgers gone... Who's gonna replace him? #liverpoolmanager #lfc"
Colin Murray @ColinMurray - "Cheers Brendan Rodgers. Like him or not, he definitely loved the club. Heart always in right place. Can't question that. Farewell #WeGoAgain"
Gabriele Marcotti @Marcotti - "Don't understand why Rodgers' departure shd prompt philosophical questions such as "Are LFC still big club?" What does it even mean?"
Paul Hayward @--PaulHayward - "If Liverpool's owners had lost faith in Brendan Rodgers why give him such a brief chance to restore their confidence? Mismanagement by FSG."
RODGERS SACKED
Twitter, as expected, has already had its say on Brendan Rodgers’ sacking from Liverpool and the views on the decision are varied.
Lord Sugar @Lord-Sugar - "Rodgers was over rated Suarez made him look good . Since he left LFC went down hill."
Jimmy Bullard @jimmybullard - "Blimey just seen the Brendan Rodgers news! Didn't see that coming!"
Mark Ogden @MOgdenTelegraph - "Personal view is that Rodgers harshly sacked by Lpool. Until they compete financially, will be an impossible job for most managers..."
RODGERS SACKED
Jamie Redknapp has told Sports News HQ that he thinks Jurgen Klopp might be the man who replaces Rodgers at Liverpool.
Klopp left Borussia Dortmund in the summer and Jamie Carragher thinks the German would be the right choice.
He said: “I would go for Klopp over Ancelotti; I think he has got more to prove. Liverpool is not an easy job now.
“It needs somebody with that energy and drive to get Liverpool back to where it wants to be and I think Jurgen Klopp is that man.”

Sports ALERT!
Liverpool spent around £292m since appointing Brendan Rodgers in June 2012, recouping around £175m.
RODGERS SACKED
Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp is speaking to Sports News HQ and giving his view on Brendan Rodgers’ sacking.
He does have sympathy for the 42-year-old but says he isn’t surprised at the decision.
“I’m not surprised but I am a little disappointed because I like Brendan. I like the way he spoke about football, he had a real energy about him.
“I think he deserved the job when he took it. The football Liverpool played at times was fantastic. You could say that was because he had Luis Suarez but he certainly gave him the right role, he handled every situation Luis Suarez caused him extremely well.
“He’s had to deal with Raheem Sterling leaving the club, obviously he has lost Steven Gerrard this season so he’s had a lot to deal with, to a certain extent.
“But as soon as things start to go wrong, and there was a clamour for a change at the club with the fans, it becomes very difficult for you.”
RODGERS SACKED
Arsene Wenger claims he is saddened by the news that Brendan Rodgers has been sacked by Liverpool but thinks that he will find another job soon.
